Resumen:
The treatment of infectious diseases still remains an important and challenging problema because, among others, emerging infectious diseases and the increasing number of multidrug-resistant microbial pathogens. Silver is he metal that has the maximum toxicity for microorganisms and minimum for animal cells. Here we will talk about antifungal activities, lipophilicity, phytototoxicity and cytotoxicity in the Allium cepa test of homoleptic and heteroleptic complexes of silver(I) with selected sulfonamides and with albendazole.
