Resumen:
The geology and the mineralogy of clays from Barrientos Hills, Buenos Aires Province, has been described and discussed how skills to attain their provenance and tectonic. The investigation is divided in two parts: the first one is dedicated to the study of geological aspects, whereas in the se-cond part it is analyzed and discussed the physico-chemical characterization of the clay materials, very useful to support field observations.
