Polyphenolic flavonoids present anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor effects. In particular, Chrysin and Silibinin exhibit anti-proliferative and anti-metastatic effects against various malignant cell lines.   In this work we report the biological effects of two complexes of vanadyl(IV) with Chrysin and Silibinin on a human colon adenocarcinoma cell line (HT-29 ATCC HTB 38).
