Resumen:
Three clay minerals from Argentinean deposits dominated by the presence of kaolinite, pyrophyllite and a mixture of quartz, sericite, pyrophyllite and kaolinite were studied to use in agronomical field, as filter for (UV) ultraviolet radiation, in the range 280-400 nm. In this context, some physicochemical properties were analyzed. Although all samples were effective, kaolinite-rich-clay mineral showed the best behaviour.
