Resumen:
In relation with the valence electron distribution of sulfenylcarbonyl (XC(O)SY) compounds, we have already reported an analysis of the He(I) Photoelectron Spectra (PES) of FC(O)SCl [1]. Moreover, multi-coincidence spectra (PEPICO and PEPIPICO) were further studied in the inner shell electronic region [2]. We become interested in the study of the ionic fragmentation in the valence region, mainly because of the complementary of these techniques. Indeed PES reveal properties such as the electron density of a particular orbital while coincidence studies give insight about the fragmentation channels opened when a valence electron is removed from that orbital. FC(O)SCl is a good candidate to give results, which can be compared from both techniques. Total and Partial Ion Yield and PEPICO spectra were acquired in the energy range 12-21.6 eV (TGM beam line) for simple five-atomic FC(O)SCl and ClC(O)SCl molecules. In order to avoid higher harmonic component in the incident beam, the innovative helium gas filter accessory was used [3]. References: [1] Erben, M. F.; Della Védova, C. O., Inorg.
