Resumen:
The FTIR and FT-Raman spectra of the gallium(III) complex of 3-hydroxy-2-methyl-6-pyrone (maltol), tris(maltolato)gallium(III), a new and very promising antitumoral drug, were recorded and briefly discussed by comparison with the spectra of uncoordinated maltol and with some related species.
