Resumen:
In this work we obtained four MnIII complexes with the tetradentate N2O2 ligands 1,3-bis(3,5-X2salicylidenamino)propane (3,5-X2salpn), where X = H, Cl, F and NO2, evaluated their SOD activity and studied the reaction of O2 with the electrochemically generated Mn(II) complexes in order to provide new insights on the key intermediates involved in the redox reactions.
