Resumen:
To gain mechanistic insights into the catalytic asymmetric conjugate addition of alkenylboronates to enones, the reaction of benzalacetone (1) with dimethyl boronate (2a) catalyzed by 3,3-diiodo-1,1-bi-2-naphthol (4) has been theoretically studied.
