Resumen:
Application of organometallic chemistry to solid-phase organic synthesis (SPOS) has increased substantially in the last decade. The advantages of SPOS are: easy purification by simple filtration, excess of reagents can be added to drive reactions to completion and amenability to automate among others. SPOS allows a rapid synthesis of a great number of compounds. On the other hand, in last years, research in homogeneous gold catalysis has reached a high level of development; however, the application of this metal to SPOS is very limited. The metal-catalyzed cyclizations of propargylureas and derivatives have been extensively studied exhibiting the production of different heterocycles depending on the reaction conditions. Cyclization can ocurr in endo or exo manner to form five- or six- membered rings with N or O acting as nucleophile. In this study, we investigate in simple and potential supported propagylic ureas models the possibilities of gold-promoted cyclizations to provide small heterocyles, including several diversity points.
