Resumen:
In any chromatographic separation, an analytical signal is recorded as a functionof elution time, depending on the detector used. Nowadays, this generates digitaldata that can be analyzed using different mathematical models and algorithms, withthe aim of extracting relevant information according to the analytical objective. Therecorded data can be classified in terms of the concept of order, which is based on anatural progression from the simplest zeroth-order (univariate) to multivariate data.
