Resumen:
The synthesis of N-methyl-N-formyltyramine, a novel β-phenethylamide derivative isolatedfrom Cyathobasis fructiculosa (Bunge) Aellen, is reported. The natural product was preparedin six steps and good overall yield from 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde.
