Resumen:
This presentation aims to compare the teaching function of both the expert (professor) and the novice (assistant) in experimental situations. Twelve groups of university students were tested in teaching situations with a professor and an assistant . Results show  that assistants attend more than professors the social and psychopedagogical support of learning; professors focuse specially on the epistemic dimension (knowledge by itself). The difference regards also the linguistic context. Finally there is a great difference concerning specifically the cognitive construction of knowledge and the learning results. Answers to a questionnaire applied to students are coincident with these conclusions.
