Resumen:
The aim of this work was to study the degradation kinetics of three pharmaceutical emerging contaminants as diclofenac, ibuprofen and paracetamol in aqueous and complex matrix using Ozone and UV radiation. The basic approach is to evaluate the ozone efficiency when the technologie is considered for "real" applications. The set of experimental results demonstrates the crucial importance of the selection of the process conditions to improve ozone efficiencies. In this sense, using ?specific efficiencies? defined ad hoc, this approach consider variations in the ozone supply in order to minimize losses and the design of exhaustion methods as multiple stage reactors. The results show the difference between the kinetic of the pollutants reactions with respect to the complete oxidation of the by-products is high. Then, the addition of UV to the process with ozone results in an increase in the mineralization rate of the reagents due to the presence of high concentrations of hydroxyl radicals
