Resumen:
This article proposes a new multi-objective optimization strategy for determining the economic dispatch in a microgrid (MG) that is operated connected to the utility grid. The MG includes generators based on wind turbines, photovoltaic panels, diesel engines, and fuel cells. The problem considers the simultaneous minimization of generation costs, greenhouse gas emissions, and voltage deviations at the load nodes. The normalization factors of each cost are dynamically updated along the optimization process. The optimal economic dispatch is obtained by application of a particle swarm optimization algorithm. Simulation results suggest that the proposed technique is able to reach an adequate economic dispatch in computing times lower than those obtained with other techniques.
