Resumen:
A coated mesh configuration for photocatalytic wall reactor is addressed and evaluated for the elimination of dichloromethane in air. Three commercial materials were tested as catalyst support: two fiberglass meshes and one stainless steel mesh. Parameters such as catalyst load and adherence were evaluated; the photocatalytic activity was as well tested in a laboratory reactor under UV lamps. Considering the qualitative and quantitative results, fiberglass #2 appears as the best option for a photocatalytic mesh device
