Resumen:
Dichloromethane (DCM) is a typical indoor pollutant which affects the human health. Heterogeneous photocatalysis is a suitable technology for addressing its control. This article presents a study of the photocatalytic oxidation of DCM in the gas phase, employing a coated mesh, laboratory scale, continuous reactor. Results indicate the feasibility of the DCM elimination, with conversion levels within expected values.
