Resumen:
Within the group of herbicides, glyphosate (N-phosphonomethyl glycine) is one of the most used in the world due to its broad spectrum, low cost and non-selectivity. The glyphosate-resistant (GR) soybean is the major crop in Argentina nowadays. This production has been accompanied by an increase in the use of glyphosate and its routine use have led to the emergence of weed species tolerant or resistant to this active ingredient. Thus, the farmers have to resort to use other hormonal herbicides in combination with glyphosate and 2,4 dichlorophenosyacetic acid (2,4-D).
