Resumen:
Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) are based on the generation of reactive species such as hydroxyl radicals, wich are able to oxidize and mineralize a great variety of toxic and non-biodegradable compounds as a result of their high reactivity and low selectivity. Particularly, the photo-Fenton process is useful to destroy several pollutants such as biologically nondegradable compounds that can not be eliminated by mean of well-known wastewater treatments
