Resumen:
The kinetics of protein incorporation into a mesoporous multilayer structure is studied in this work. The process is monitored through associated changes in the effective refractive index of the structure by using conventional reflectance spectroscopy in self-sustained PS microcavities. We present a simple model for protein diffusion and adsorption in porous silicon (PS) films. The model was tested for two different proteins, glucose oxidase and horseradish peroxidase.
