Resumen:
Microreactors allow a better control of highly exothermic gas phase reactions due to their highheat and mass transfer rates [1]. Controlling the deposition of a homogeneous thin film catalyston the walls of such structures is of challenging interest. Zeolites can be used as catalysts in awide variety of reactions; however, few articles concerning zeolite-based metallic microreactorscan be found in the literature [2, 3]. Moreover, the advantages of using high thermalconductivity supports for exothermic reactions in millimeter-sized reactors have beenconsidered [4]. In this work we present the synthesis of zeolite films on brass microgrids, whichare tested in the catalytic oxidation of CO.
