Resumen:
Noble metals like rhodium and ruthenium are active for several reforming reactions. Furthermore, when the appropriate supports are used these formulations are catalytically stable and do not produce a significant amount ofcarbonaceous residues. In this work, a particular emphasis is given to the surface characterization of supported catalysts in lanthanum-based systems through XPS application, to determine the influence of chemical states and metal particle sizes. This aspect is presented and discussed alongside suited examples.
