Resumen:
The effect of the addition of La, Pr or Sm on the metallic activity and the thioresistence of Pt supported on NaY zeolite catalyst was studied. The catalysts were evaluated by deshydrogenation reaction of cyclohexane to benzene with a stage of accelerated poisoning and a stage of reactivation with hydrogen. The promoters were incorporated by ion exchange and calcination, in order to analyze the effect of cations or by impregnation to wet incipient and calcinations, to stabilize the respective oxides. The results show that the lanthanides increase the deshydrogenation activity of the Pt and improve their thiorresistence properties and this effect is increased when increase the electronegativity of the promoter. Of all promoters studied, the samarium is the one more suitable and the catalyst preparation by ion exchange turned out to be thioresistence because it produces more efficient interaction Sm-Pt.
