Resumen:
After the proper synthesis of SBA-15, cerium and copper oxides were homogeneously dispersed without changing the mesoporous structure. High concentrations of oxide nanoparticles were incorporated inside the channels, with slight decreases of the surface area and pore volume. Furthermore, the addition of Cu and Ce in a single step promoted the interaction between them. The molar ratio Cu/Ce was the main variable on the catalytic activity. Instead, the different ways of impregnation did not change the catalytic behavior.The structured catalysts showed good CO conversion, and the COPrOx reaction was less affected by Cu/Ce ratio
