Resumen:
Thin mordenite films are synthesized on metallic microchanneled sheets for their use in micro-reactors. First, synthesis on AISI 316 steel, copper and brass are performed. After that, brass is selected for subsequent experiments and synthesis conditions were optimized in this material. Thin, adherent and dense mordenite growths on the brass surface are obtained. Later, the growths were obtained into 350 mm microchanneled brass plates. This result, without precedent, is of great importance for building microreactors with applications in highly exothermic gas phase reactions.
