Resumen:
Synthesis conditions to obtain catalytic mordenite film are regulated. The films are obtained on the surface of Fecralloy stainless steel foils. We study the temporal evolution of the film growth, the effect of seed crystals concentration, the surface modification with additives and the concentration of the synthesis gel. The purity and crystallinity of the film and crystals in solution were determined by XRD, as well as the microstructure and coverage were evaluated by SEM. The studied variables regulate the film characteristics like over-growths, thicknesses, sizes and homogeneity of crystals. Moreover, effects in the growth rates and the selectivity towards the support were observed. Thin, homogeneous and adherent films can be obtained in an efficient manner on Fecralloy steel foils that can be employed to built micro-reactors.
