Resumen:
In this paper CO2 reforming of methane reaction to syngas (CO and H2) over Hydrotalcite-derived Ru catalysts and Ru-CeO2-Al2O3 (0.25 wt.% Ru) catalysts was studied. The effect of the nature of the support (exHT, Al2O3-Ce or Al2O3), the role of the of Ce and preparation procedure on chemical-physical properties and performances of catalysts was studied. Bulk catalysts were obtained via Ru/Mg/Al hydrotalcite-type (HT) precursors with carbonates as interlayer anion. A supported catalyst was prepared by impregnation on a calcined Mg/Al HT. Moreover, Ru-CeO2-Al2O3 catalysts were prepared by coprecipitation and impregnation. The results revealed that the Hydrotalcite-derived Ru catalysts showed the highest catalytic performances in term of CH4 and CO2 activities and stabilities in the reaction time than Ru-CeO2-Al2O3 catalysts. exRuHT showed high catalytic stability without any decrease in the long time test. The addition of the Ce did not improve the catalytic performance in spite of preparation method. CeO2 was dispersed in Al2O3 modifying the surface area and Ru reducibility and dispersion.
