Resumen:
Tungsten oxide promoted zirconia (WZ) catalysts have high activity in the isomerization of n-alcanes [1]. The presence of a metal, mainly Pt, is necessary to achieve high activity and selectivity [2]. The catalyst used is bifunctional: a metal function provided by Pt and an acid function generated by interaction of H2 dissociated over the metal with the superficial WOx sites [3]. One of the problems of this kind of catalysts is that they are poisoned by sulphur and nitrogen containing compounds normally present in industrial feeds. The objective of this work is to study the poisoning of Pt/WZ, Pt-Pd/WZ and Pd/WZ with n-butilamine (BA) and CS2 during the n-hexane isomerization. It was also studied the possibility of regeneration.
