Resumen:
The catalytic partial hydrogenation of acetilenics has been widely studied in the last years due to its academic and industrial interest [1]. Products obtained from these reactions are useful in the synthesis of fine chemicals and biological active compounds [2]. One of the most studied systems is the Lindlar catalyst (Pd/CaCO3 modified with Pb(OAc)2). Other catalysts, mono and bimetallic, as well as several transition metal complexes have been studied [3, 4]. The objective of this paper is to study the behavior of a Ru/Al2O3 catalyst reduced at two temperatures in the obtention of 1-heptene from 1-heptyne and to compare its performance with the classic Lindlar catalyst.
