Resumen:
Pd/Cu MCM-41 catalysts for the hydrodechlorination of CF3OCFClCF2Cl to CF3OCF=CF2 have been prepared. Palladium and copper have been introduced during the synthesis of the MCM-41 structure and the slurries have been aged by microwave-hydrothermal treatment. The effect of the silica source (silicates or TEOS) and total metal loading (2.4 and 4 wt.%) on chemical-physical properties and catalytic performances has been studied. The structure of the MCM-41 was not largely affected by the presence of Pd and Cu, being less ordered the samples prepared with TEOS. The calcination treatment led to the segregation of large bimetallic Pd/Cu particles. The formation of Pd- or Cu-enriched particles modified the selectivity; being TEOS derived catalysts more selective selectivity to the target CF3OCF=CF2.
