Resumen:
The removal of environmental pollutants is a subject studied in recent years. Among the different approaches studied, CO2 capture is a way that improvement the greenhouse gas. There are different materials being studied, including zeolites. In this work Namor modified with different concentrations of cesium or cobalt were studied, which modified the basic strength of the adsorption sites and increased adsorption capacity and retention of carbon dioxide. It was observed by FTIR that the CO2 interacts linearly in the form of mono- and bidentate carbonates with adsorbent materials.
