Resumen:
Graphite oxide (GO) is an oxygen-rich carbonaceous material, produced by the controlledoxidation of graphite. As related to its cation exchange capacity, swelling andintercalation ability, GO can be considered as a favourable host material of transition metalnanoparticles and metal complexes. The application of cationic surfactants with variouschain lengths as guest species results in the formation of surfactant-intercalated GO materials. For the immobilization of PdCl2(TDA)2, hydrophobic graphite oxide has been used.
