Resumen:
The metallic films were deposited by sequential electroless plating on top of vacuum-assisted ZrO2 modified porous, 0.1 µm grade (PSSD), stainless steel 316L discs [3]. Before metal deposition, discs were washed with an alkaline solution and then heated in air for 12 hours at 773 K, then the discs were activated by the conventional method. Palladium, silver and gold were deposited by sequential electroless deposition [4]. The metal deposition cycles were repeated to achieve a target thickness of ~ 14 m. The ternary and Pd90Ag10 alloy membranes were annealed at 873 K in H2 during 72 hours to promote metallic inter-diffusion and alloy formation.
