Resumen:
Considerable research has been focused on the development of low-cost catalysts with high activity and high resistance to coke formation for methane reforming reactions. Among nobel metals, ruthenium is an interesting alternative. In addition, lantana helps to clean the catalyst surface by reacting with the carbon formed during the reaction.  In this work, we investigated the stucture and reactivity of Ru and lanthanum species during the combined reforming of methane (CRM) by in situ Laser Raman Spectroscopy (LRS) to elucidate the nature of the catalytically active phases.
