Resumen:
The performance of Rh/CeO2 catalyst on the steam reforming of ethanol (SR) using a commercial Pd-Ag membrane reactor (MR) was studied. The effects of the reaction temperature, H2O/ethanol molar ratio and sweep gas flow were investigated. Rh/CeO2 catalyst exhibited high activity and good stability for SR performed in MR. Increasing the amount of water improved the stability of the catalyst and H2 recovery. In addition, the increase of sweep gas flow and reaction temperature at H2O/ethanol molar ratio of 10.0 has a positive effect on H2 flux through the membrane.
