Resumen:
A heterogeneous 1D model was used to represent the behavior of a membrane reactor forWGSR. The model was validated with experimental data, obtained from a laboratory scalemembrane reactor. Experiments were carried out under isothermal conditions using a Pt(0.6)/La2O3.SiO2 catalyst. The effect of the sweep gas flow rate on the CO conversion and H2recovery was analyzed. Hydrogen partial-pressure axial profiles were included to justify themodel selection. The influence of other operating variables (space velocity, temperature) wasalso addressed.
