Resumen:
The use of transition metal complexes have acquired importance as catalysts for hydrogenation reactions in homogeneous and heterogeneous systems. On the other hand, oxide graphite (GO) is an oxygen rich non stoichiometric carbonaceous material, with a layer structure, obtained by a graphite controlled oxydation used as a support. In a previous work [Pd(NH3)4]2+ was inmobilized on GO, and then totally reduced, this material proved to have catalytic behaviour  for 3-hexyne and 4-octyne selective hydrogenation. This work researchs the performance of Pd(II) and Rh(I) complexes on GO for the 1-heptyne partial hydrogenation.
