Resumen:
In the present work, the purchase process optimization in the paper supply chain is considered. Purchase agreements are established signing contracts with suppliers that offer diverse paper types with different costs, minimum quantity ordered, payment term, etc. The scenario modeled also includes other issues like paper stock limits, suppliers’ provision capacity and paper to be purchased from paper family. The problem studied presents various decision levels that can be modeled by generalized disjunctive programming. The goal pursued in this article is to contribute to better raw material consumption and tactical decisions to face the integration process in the paper supply chain.
