Extended Resource Perspective Support for BPMN and BPEL

This work provides support to the modeling and execution of the Resource Perspective of Business Process models with BPMN and BPEL. It is based on an extension developed to the metamodel and notation of BPMN in order to represent the Resource Structure, Work Distribution and Authorization aspects of this perspective. This work proposes a mapping of extended BPMN process models to BPEL processes applying the BPEL4People and WS-HumanTask extensions. It also proposes the structure of people directories to be supported by BPEL4People and WS-HumanTask implementations in order to understand the organizational models produced by means of the proposed BPMN extension.
