Resumen:
Scheduling with cycle time minimization is required when the plant operates with campaigns. In this work, a slot-based MILP model is presented for the optimal scheduling of a batch plant with parallel units in each stage. The model includes constraints that reduce search space and improve performance. Taking into account that the objective function minimizes the production cycle time, this model can be embedded in other formulations.
