Resumen:
On the basis of scalar diffraction theory, we analyze in the deep Fresnel diffractionregion the diffraction characteristics of an amplitude grating that carry to the quasi-Talbot effect of the grating. To this purpose a study is presented for a one-dimensional periodic transversal field and its propagated quasi-self images which are experimentally corroborated.
