Resumen:
In this work we present results of the use of a pyroelectric sensor in the detection of submillimeter electromagnetic waves, or terahertz radiation, generated by a photoconductive antenna excited by an ultrashort pulses laser. The first part shows the transmission of different sorts of materials (polymers, paper, paperboard, metals and silicon compounds) in this frequency band using the incoherent measurement system. In a second part the results obtained are shown with a system that allows the displacement of the sample in a 2D plane and thus generate an image by transmission, when processing the matrix of amplitudes for each point.Keywords: Terahertz Radiation, Detector pyroelectric, incoherent detection.
