Resumen:
(charla dada por P. Pujol) In this talk we first comment on building Chern insulators in a magnetic background. We discuss the kagome lattice as a such a background, highlighting results presented in our previous work (PRB 2018). We recall the connection between Chern numbers and Hall effect. We present our first results combining a chiral magnetic background in a kagome lattice with itinerant electrons, showing the resulting conductivity. Choosing a background with spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking, we present a "spontaneous" Chern insulator with anomalous Hall effect. Finally, we discuss our ongoing work and perspectives.
