Resumen:
The state of chaos induced by a feedback loop in gas lasers has been a subject relatively little explored in the literature. However, in the 1960s this phenomenon was in fact studied and employed to perform alignment work in Argentina. We review this history and present a more recent application for the study of atmospheric turbulence.
