Resumen:
The aim of the present talk is to present and discuss the results of extensive numerical simulations of the VM aimed to characterize its critical behavior, determine its critical exponents, and give insight on the network structure formed upon collective motion.   In order to characterize the critical behavior, we performed both, standard simulations, measuring stationary properties that are subsequently analyzed by using finite-size scaling methods, and short-time dynamic simulations, which are interpreted on the basis of the dynamic scaling theory. Subsequently, we analyze the structure of the flocks formed upon collective motion showing the dramatic influence of the type of noise considered (angular versus vectorial) on the networks of individuals.
