Resumen:
Effects of radiation conditions and nitrogen availability on triticale were investigated. The relationship between shading and N supply with the industrial use of triticale flour were studied. Incident radiation (S) affected all parameters measured. Nitrogen supply (N) influenced yield, protein content, SDS-SI, AWRC, Cookie Factor and D4C. The proportion of proteins of high molecular weight was increased with N supply and preanthesis shade, while postanthesis shade increased proteins of smaller molecular weight. The interaction between variety and N supply was significant for yield, SDS-SI and AWRC. Only yield and test weight were affected by N x S interaction. Significant effect of the interaction of variety, N supply and shade conditions was observed for test weight.
