Resumen:
Galvanized steel is usually coated with wash primer formulations to temporary protect the substrate and to facilitate the adhesion of further coatings [1]. In this research, a wash primer formulation containing Al(SiO2)1.5PO4 (aluminium phosphosilicate) and polyvinyl butyral as binder was formulated. Its anticorrosive behaviour was assessed employing the scanning electrode technique (SVET). Results were compared with a reference formulation containing basic zinc chromate.
