Resumen:
Conversion layers on metallic surfaces are employed to facilitate the adhesion of further coatings [1] and to impart some corrosion resistance to the substrate.
In this research, the conversion layer was generated by dipping a galvanized steel panel into 1% boron phosphate solution at 80ºC. The anticorrosive performance of the converted surface was evaluated by the scanning vibrating electrode technique (SVET) [2].
