Resumen:
The aim of this work was to study the bioflm formation and the biocorrosion affecting an urban solid waste treatment plant and the application of a commercial antimicrobial agent to mitigate the effects of microbiologically infuenced corrosion. The results showed the antimicrobial agent was able to inhibit the growth of microorganisms and mitigate biocorrosion.
