Resumen:
ZnCo alloys (0.4 to 1.2%Co)were electrodeposited using pulsating or direct current in a chloride bath, and then chromated froma chromate conversion bath. The corrosion behavior of these coatings in aerated 0.6 N NaCl solution was investigated by Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy. The experimental findings showed that if the structure and properties of themetallic layer are considered the pulsating current process was more effective than the direct one, but no major difference in their corrosion behavior was observed.
