Resumen:
Zebrafish model represents an alternative model of growing interest in pharmaceutics, biomedics and environmental issues. The selection is based on multiple advantages compared with other animal models, its genetic homology with humans, and its similarities with mammal organs and cell types. Allows in vivo assays with lower costs and time, gives information of complete animal and it is bioethics friendly. This platform of assays gives information of long term teratogenic effects and morphological changes, lethal dose 50 (LD50), teratogenic dose 50 (TD50), locomotive activity 50 (ALC50) and toxicity in specific organs like heart. Standardization was done with ethanol and cooper sulphate and as control for nanoparticles, commercial dendrimers
